Today’s breakfast is Creamy Vanilla Oats w/fresh wild cherries and cashew butter. It’s our go to for a luxurious meal that’s also healthful. A great way to have your indulgence and comfort along and have a great start to your day! Do try!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup steel cut oats
1 tbsp flax seeds powder
1/2 cup oat milk (or any plant milk)
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 to 2 tsp agave syrup (or maple syrup)
Method:
▪️Mix steel cut oats, flax seed powder, water and oat milk in a pan.
▪️Bring to a boil over medium heat, cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes until the oats are super creamy.
▪️Stir every few minutes. Remove from heat, and then stir in vanilla and agave syrup.
Toppings:
▪️wild cherries
▪️creamy unsweetened cashew butter
▪️dark chocolate & hazelnut granola
▪️cacao nibs
▪️roasted cashews
