Creamy Cardamom Oat Bowl

This is a great way to make healthy food taste indulgent and have your breakfast look all kinds of beautiful <3 Try it!

This is my Creamy Cardamom Oats. w/Flax. Blueberry hemp crumble. Fresh blueberries & bananas.

Ingredients:
serves 1
1/3 cup steel cut oats
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup oat milk (or any other plant milk you prefer)
1/8 tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp flax seed powder
1/2 tsp coconut sugar (or use agave/maple syrup if you prefer)
1/4 cup fresh blueberries, washed
1/2 cup blueberry hemp granola (I like ‘pure elizabeth’ brand. use any you prefer)
1/4 perfectly ripe banana, sliced

I like @purely_elizabeth granola. I find them to be a great balance of healthy and tasty, and they are not cloyingly sweet.

Method:
In a pot, add 1/3 cup steel cut oats along with 1 tsp flax seed powder, 1/2 cup water and 1/4 cup oat milk. Cook while stirring for about 5 mins on medium heat.

Once thickened, add 1/8 tsp of cardamom powder and 1/2 tsp coconut sugar (or agave or maple syrup). I like my oats mildly sweet, so add more sugar if you’d like it sweeter.
Add a few more tablespoons of oat milk to desired consistency, cook another 5 minutes until creamy.

Top with fresh blueberries, bananas, and a couple of tablespoons of your favorite granola/crumble and enjoy!
